Fellowship & Spiritual Growth – Right in Your Own Back Yard!

The air turned crisp this week – you can sense the cold approaching and see summer's colorful foliage fading. But at MUMC, we are warming up – listening for God's Spirit and watching for the light of new learning. This warming up is embodied in worship/communion, ministry with children, and a new study that we call the ReThink Church Bible study. Not to mention chicken & noodles – something that really warms the heart. Here are dates to remember and show up:

Kick-Off Workshop for Bible Study with Grace UMC - Des Moines (3700 Cottage Grove Ave.) Sat., October 17 from 8:15 to 1:00 (includes lunch – leave at noon if needed)

Bobbie Hinds is organizing a craft afternoon for all area crafters who’d like to get together with like-minded souls. Scrapbookers, knitters, tatters, stampers, quilters and others who have a portable craft they enjoy are invited to join and share their projects and talents.
